Pleased that we decided to call here after our flights were delayed and we stayed extra 2 nights. Sean and Christina the owners were excellent and the meals great. Due to taxi availability we even had a lift to our apartment. We were so impressed we returned for our second night and was great.

We discovered this place just two days before the end of our holiday, it is absolutely the best restaurant in Laganas. Very welcoming couple runs the restaurant and the food is outstanding.

An Absolute Gem in Laganas – Our Favorite Spot All Week!
We stumbled upon The Island during our stay in Laganas and instantly fell in love. After our first meal, we knew we had found something special – we ended up coming back every single day for a whole week!
This charming, family-owned restaurant has such a warm and welcoming vibe. The staff are genuinely amazing: very friendly, attentive, and they make you feel like part of their family rather than just guests. Their hospitality is second to none.
And the food… absolutely outstanding! Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. From local specialties to classic favorites, everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.
If you’re in Laganas and looking for a restaurant that combines incredible food with wonderful service and a great atmosphere, The Island is the place to go. It truly became the highlight of our holiday, and we can’t recommend it enough!- Είδος γεύματος

This was by far the best food we've had on the island. The restaurant is owned by a lovely family and I can honestly say the service was 10/10. If you're visiting Zakynthos make sure you dine in here, you will not regret it x

If your visiting zakynthos this restaurant is AMAZING! ITS A MUST WHILE THERE. The staff are lovely the food is just so so good. That good we went two night of our week holiday. I've had to leave a review as it was outstanding. Pictures below.

Amazing food, full of taste and flavour! The hosts are incredible, always ready to help and meet all your needs! We had 3 meals from them and every time it was beyond expectations! Thank you very much for the food, atmosphere and making us feel welcome! You are amazing!

Me and my friends went to The Island quite a few times over in Zante To say the least it was such a lovely place filled with lovely and passionate people The food was spectacular and the drinks were refreshing, all for a good price If you are around the area or looking for some place to try some food, here’s the place for it Keep up the good work folks!

The most polite owners I've ever met. Hospitality is on another level. Come once and you will be coming back again. You feel like a part of a family. Food is great, prices as usual as you get in Laganas.

We visited this lovely family run restaurant in October and we were greeted by Christina. Most of Laganas was closed for the end of the season which was a shame as it was like a ghost town. Luckily we found this lovely restaurant which served great food but with a limited menu. Every meal we had was excellent and I would highly recommend a visit here. In the dish is always included an aperitif with sauces as tzatziki and one made by capsicums. The portions are very large and the food is high quality. The staff is very helpful and nice. The place create a good athmosphere too. I went 3 times.
